This series of cartridges contain
powder filled projectiles designed for barricade
situations. The projectiles have been redesigned
for improved accuracy & performance. Since these
projectiles are not pyrotechnic in nature, they
do not introduce a significant fire-starting hazard
at the target.
These rounds are available in
CN, CS, OC and inert configurations for training
purposes.
Operation
These rounds can be fired from
most 12ga smoothbore shotguns such as the Remington
870 and Mossberg 500. Impact during target penetration
ruptures a weakened circular section in the projectile
nose, releasing the liquid or powder payload. The
rapid deceleration coupled with the spin instantly
produce a larger volume of mist inside the target
area.
