M201FB Flash-Bang Training Fuze

This is the Fuze to our new Flash Bang training system. It is basically the same as the m201fb Fuze but with the following exceptions: threading left-handed so that it can not be threaded into any other munition, output of the delay charge is 120db, the delay column has been dyed for identification purpose, and the body has been painted blue for training identification.

Operation

Our Model 201FB is identical to the military M201A1 fuze except for cosmetic changes made to the body and for the following improvements: Twice as accurate: Timing is 1.5 ± 0.3 seconds instead of 0.7 to 2 seconds. Tougher: Body is cast of stronger Zinc alloy. Greater corrosion resistance: Coated and tested to withstand 96 hours of salt spray instead of 72 hours. Also, stainless steel hammer hinge pins are used Instead of the carbon steel variety.

Safety

The Model 201FB come standard with our pull ring safety clip. When assembled to a munition, the clip retains the pull ring against the fuze body. Releasing the pull ring requires a clockwise twist before pulling the pin. The pull ring can easily be reinserted to the safe position if the pin has not been removed.

Physical
